The most well-known shopping and dining area is called Market Street. DC Ranch has its own K-8 school as well as two large community centers, The Homestead, a 4 acre facility, and Desert Camp, a 9 acre facility. In addition to neighborhood parks and natural greenways, there are approximately 33 miles of paths and trails.
The location of DC Ranch is one of the best selling points of this community. It is within one mile of Loop 101 (Pima Freeway), which connects to the greater Phoenix metropolitan area, valley airports and the interstate freeway system.
DC Ranch Trivia– Where did the DC Ranch name come from? Was it really a ranch? You bet it was. DC Ranch dates back to 1885 when Dr. W.B. (Doc) Crosby registered the DC cattle brand. In 1901, Mr. E.O. Brown, a businessman from Wisconsin, claimed the land that would grow into a 43,000-acre cattle ranch and purchased the DC brand. The last cattle drive from DC Ranch to the Phoenix railhead took place as recently as the late 1950’s. In 1993 the landowners partnered with DC Ranch LLC to create the premier community and landmarks known today as DC Ranch.

DC RANCH GOLF – THE COUNTRY CLUB AT DC RANCH
DC Ranch is recognized nationally as a golf and residential community. The Country Club at DC Ranch is a private club with an 18-hole course designed by Tom Lehman and John Fought. It does not require owning property within the community and offers tiers of membership ranging from social to full golf privileges.

- Equity Golf Memberships are based on market price. They are currently running in the $85,000 range. Monthly dues are $1,236 plus $119 toward the Capital Fund. Junior golf memberships are also available.
- Sport Social Memberships are available for $30,000 with monthly dues ranging from $594 to $752 and a Capital Fund amount of $72.
- Clubhouse Memberships are available for $10,000 with monthly dues ranging from $444 to $552 and a Capital Fund amount of $51.
Coming in Spring of 2019, The Country Club will be unveiling many new and upgraded facilities, including a brand new fitness center, group exercise rooms, a resort-style pool, a casual indoor dining room, a poolside bar, a ‘tween’ room, an expanded kids’ playroom, an expanded ladies’ lounge and a larger clubhouse kitchen. This is going to be a fantastic addition to an already wonderful club.

As of May 1, 2018, there were 51 single family homes for sale in DC Ranch. Prices ranged from $623,997 for a 2,001 square foot home to $4,695,000 for a 10,599 square foot custom home.
The average asking price was $1,964,268 and the average asking price per square foot was $401.12. The average cumulative days on market was 197.
The average sales price in DC Ranch year-to-date was $1,078,497 and the average sales price per square foot was $298.24. The average days on market for sold homes was 131. The lowest priced sale to date in 2018 was $545,000. The highest priced sale was $3,900,000.
DC Ranch also had a number of condos, patio homes and townhomes for sale. As of the same date there were 18 units for sale with prices ranging from $450,000 to $1,240,000. Sales prices in 2018 ranged from $365,000 for a 1,456 square foot unit to $825,000 for a 3,765 square foot unit.

Over the course of the year, 107 single-family homes sold. The least expensive sale was $526,500 for a 1,740 square foot home and the most expensive sale was $5,300,000 for a 12,562 square foot estate.
