ABOUT THE BOULDERS GOLF COMMUNITY

The Boulders is a unique community in that it is part of the area that houses The Boulders Resort and Spa. Residents have access or are entitled to discounts for many of the resort amenities. Homes are nestled throughout the gently rolling property, many of them overlooking one of the courses. And the amazing rock formations for which the community is named abound.
There are many types of housing options within The Boulders. There are a large number of casitas which are perfect for seasonal residents or for folks who are looking for smaller square footage. Many of these casitas are grandfathered into The Boulders Resort rental pool, allowing for rental revenue-earning potential. On the other end of the spectrum are large, stunning custom homes that overlook the breathtaking golf courses and desert terrain.
Living in the Boulders, you are just moments away from downtown Carefree and Cave Creek with their charming shops, galleries and varied dining experiences. Additionally, North Scottsdale shopping is just a few minutes in the other direction.

The Boulders is nestled around two world-class golf courses Boulders North and Boulders South designed by Jay Morrish.
The set-up is unique in that the courses are a combination of resort course and private course. Each day, the courses alternate between being open to guests and being open to members.
As you play, you will enjoy the famous boulder rock formations that gave the resort its name. Golf memberships are available as are social and clubhouse memberships.
Golf Membership Information as of February 2026
- Premier Golf Memberships are available for $80,000. Monthly dues range from $1,031 to $1,334.
- Premier Social Memberships are available for $21,000. Monthly dues range from $394 to $546.
- Premier Clubhouse Memberships are available for $15,000. Monthly dues range from $333 to $424.
- Memberships include access to The Boulders Spa, tennis and pickleball, the fitness center and classes. There is also a private member fitness area in the Club.
- Discounts on spa treatments, resort room rates, food and beverage and more. (Some exclusions apply.)
- Annual food and beverage minimum of $1,500 for all membership levels.
- You do not need to own property at The Boulders to become a Golf member. Social and Clubhouse memberships do require homeownership within The Boulders.
