– Scottsdale Events – September 2026 –
September is back! Here are some handpicked events and things going on in and around Scottsdale this month.
- 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb – September 5th – Climb the stairs at Salt River Fields for a symbolic 110 stories to honor our first responders in New York who put their lives on the line. All proceeds will support the families of fallen frontline workers.
- Experience Japan at the MIM – September 5th -7th – For three days, the music, dance, and art of Japan will be celebrated at the Musical Instrument Museum.
- Woven: Navajo Textiles – Opens September 5th – Seven Navajo woven artworks will be on display at the Western Spirit Museum. Explore the different designs and color choices, and learn about the history of Navajo weaving.
- Rodeo Scottsdale – September 11th -13th – WestWorld is hosting Rodeo Scottsdale for another year. The 74th annual edition will feature three days of bull riding, roping, barrel racing, and so much more.
- Arabian National Breeder Finals – September 16th – 19th – Experience the ultimate celebration of purebred Arabian horses. This prestigious event brings together the world’s finest halter and breeding contenders competing for top honors and prize money in an electric equestrian atmosphere.
- Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market – September 18th – 20th – Junk in the Trunk is coming back to WestWorld! This vintage market will be spread over 120,000 square feet and feature items from over 160 different vendors. There will be food trucks and live music to keep the vibe going.
- Fall Arizona Restaurant Week – September 18th – 27th– Arizona Restaurant Week is back and it is a fun way to explore new restaurants as well as your favorites. There are already 259 restaurants participating and they will offer a prix fixe menu that costs $33, $44 or $55. There are also some places offering $44 and $55 per couple! They have also added $25 lunches at some locations.
- Little River Band at Talking Stick – September 25th – Head on over to the Talking Stick Resort to hear Little River Band play their iconic hits during their 50th anniversary tour.
- Collective Soul at Talking Stick – September 26th – Celebrating three decades of rock and roll, Collective Soul will be playing their hits as well as some songs from their newest release.
- Dinosaurs in the Desert – September 26th – April 30th – The dinosaurs are back at the Phoenix Zoo after a couple-year hiatus, and the exhibit is bigger and better than ever. Marvel at the different dinosaurs and participate in dinosaur-themed activities.
- Free Entrance to National Parks for National Public Lands Day – September 26th -Visit national parks for free on September 26th. There are many in Arizona. like the Grand Canyon and the Montezuma Castle in Camp Verde. There are plenty of choices to choose from! There are also many volunteer opportunities to participate in.
- Scottsdale Bridal Expo – September 27th – Head to the Fieldhouse event center at the Scottsdale Stadium to experience this one-stop-shop event for all things wedding and bridal. The event is free, but you must preregister.
