– Scottsdale Events in April –
April is jam-packed with all kinds of events in Scottsdale and all over the valley.
- Maricopa County Fair – April 3rd -5th and 9th – 12th – Head over to the Arizona State Fairgrounds for the Maricopa County Fair. Get your fair food fix, meet some livestock, and have fun on the rides.
- Scottsdale Jazz Festival – April 4th Kickoff – The Scottsdale Jazz Festival kicks off on the 4th and carries into the week with the main event on the 11th and a third event on April 25th. Check the event schedule for the three to see what’s happening on the three different dates and locations.
- Arizona Bike Week – April 8th – 12th – Once again, WestWorld would be hosting Arizona Bike Week. There will be bike shows, stunt shows, a huge vendor marketplace, concerts, local music, and so much more.
- Phoenix Film Festival – April 9th – 19th – The Harkins Scottsdale 101 will host over 250 films over the eleven days at this year’s Phoenix Film Festival. In addition to the screenings, there’ll be workshops, parties, seminars, and more. Here is this year’s schedule.
- Stroller Safari at the Phoenix Zoo – April 13th – Join new friends and old friends alike on the morning of the 13th at the Phoenix Zoo. You’ll learn about animals, sing songs, and have a great time.
- Reggae Rise Up – April 17th – 19th – Reggae fans, get ready. Tempe Beach Park is hosting this multi-day celebration of reggae. There will be food and drink for purchase, vendors, sports, crafts and more.
- The Original Taste – April 18th – This charity event at the Scottsdale Civic Center and feature food and drinks from Old Town Scottsdale’s top restaurants. Proceeds will benefit children’s programs around the Valley. This year’s performance will feature Chris Lane.
- Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market – April 24th – 26th – Discover vintage gems and uniquely curated finds at the Junk in the Trunk market. Spanning 120,000 square feet with over 160 vendors, it’s the ultimate treasure hunter’s paradise. Fuel your adventure with live music, DJ sets, and plenty of food and drink options to keep you energized.
- Mercantile Market – April 25th – 26th – If you’re looking for a great day, definitely head over to the Mercantile Market at the Scottsdale Civic Center Plaza. There are lots of vendors, some tasty food, live performances, community events, and so much more.
- Summer Concerts at the Railroad Park – Kicks Off April 25th– Tracks and Tunes is back! McCormick Stillman Railroad Park’s beloved free concert series kicks off on the 25th and runs Sunday nights through May 30th, with a different music genre featured each week. Pack a picnic, grab a bite from the food trucks, and enjoy a great night out.
