Celebrating 250 Years – 2026 Scottsdale 4th of July Events –

Here is our annual, hand-picked list of 4th of July events going on in Scottsdale and around the Valley this year. As you know, this year is extra special because America is celebrating 250 years.
- Fairmont Princess 4th of July Freedom Fest – July 2nd- 4th – Freedom Fest at the Scottsdale Fairmont Princess’s Freedom Fest is back with a bigger and better event this year! Plans include nightly fireworks, concerts and parachutists, fun events at the pool and so much more.This year, they’ve added a drone show which will be at 9:00 on the 3rd.
- Independence Day at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge – July 3rd – 4th – Ready to get your fireworks in a day early? On July 3rd, the Marriott Desert Ridge will be having a fireworks display, plus lots of fun events throughout the day to lead up to the big show. And on the 4th, there will be a watermelon eating contest a movie night in a spectacular 4th of July drone show
- Scottsdale’s 4th of July at WestWorld – July 4th – WestWorld is hosting a really fun event on the 4th. From 5PM to 9PM, experience lots of family-friendly (and some air-conditioned) events on tap including bull riding and mutton busting, a slider eating contest, a water balloon toss, games, a lids zone and more! There will be a Parade of Heroes honoring our local heroes and an America 250 display of the Declaration of Independence. George Washington will also be making an appearance. This is the ticketed event, so make sure to get your tickets in advance.
- 4th of July Celebration at Tempe Town Lake – July 4th – Head over to Diablo Stadium to enjoy Tempe’s annual Fourth of July celebration. It will run from 6 to 10PM., with fireworks starting around 9PM. Unfortunately, the event planners this year were unable to pull off the 4th of July production that many people are used to. But rather than canceling, the organizers set up lots of live entertainment. And in celebration of America’s 250th, tickets will be $2.50!
- Fabulous Phoenix 4th – July 4th – This free, alcohol-free event will take place from 6PM to 10PM on the 4th at the Steele Indian School Park. Admission is free, and there will be two stages with performers, food trucks, vendors, a kid zone, a teen zone, a car show, an ice cream eating contest and more. There is also going to be a Veterans Village that is reserved for veterans and their families.
- 4th at the Fountain in Fountain Hills – July 4th – The highly-anticipated 4th at the Fountain in Fountain Hills will be back. The event starts at 6:30 and Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers will take the stage from 7:30 to 9PM. At 9PM, the fireworks will start and the fountain will become red, white and blue. Admission is free and you’re encouraged to bring your chairs, blankets and your picnic baskets. There will be food trucks on-site offering ten different dinner options, and other vendors will be selling sweet treats.
