– North Scottsdale’s New Sprouts Farmers Market –
The southeast corner of Scottsdale Road and Pinnacle Peak Road has been under development for a while now and recently the newest addition had its grand opening.
Sprouts Market opened a few weeks ago and I was excited to go in and see the new store and its offerings.
Walking into the spacious space, you will find your personal care and nutritional items to the right. As you proceed into the store, you come upon the snacks and pantry items.
What immediately caught my attention though, was the gorgeous, brightly colored produce that was displayed in the rear of the store. Everything looked so fresh and enticing.
On the left-hand side of the store you will find the meats and deli items. Again, everything looked great and tasty. As in other Sprouts markets, you can order deli items to go or have them prepare a sandwich for you. The sandwich choices were varied and seemed really well-priced. There was also a case of prepared foods that you could take home and heat up for a meal.
On the front-left side of the store, there was a long salad bar with some items you would expect to see and some more creative items. There was also a large selection of cheeses and refrigerated snack and drink options.
Overall, the store feels fresh and clean with lots of healthful selections. It is a great addition to the neighborhood.
On our way out, we were able to learn more about the other tenants that will be coming to this development. One tenant of note is an upscale steakhouse and wine bar called Eddie Merlot’s that has locations elsewhere in the U.S. From what we were told, there will be a great patio with south-facing mountain views, which will be spectacular.
